Internship opportunities for the 2008 Session of Georgia General Assembly (January-April)

GALINK:

GALINK is one of the premier contract lobbying firms in the state.  It regularly hires one or more UGA students for the legislative session.  Some of those who have worked with GALINK in the past have gone on to find permanent jobs in the lobbying field.

Troutman Sanders:

Troutman Sanders is one of Atlanta's largest law firms with branches in several other cities.  One of the principals in its lobbying operation is a former UGA Political Science major who began his career as an intern with the General Assembly.  This is a major contract lobbying operation.

GA Beverage Association:

UGA has placed interns with this office in the past.  One of these moved on and now has a permanent job with the American Beverage Association.
